Sprint Electrical is committed to the health, safety and wellbeing of our staff, their families, and our customers.
Sprint Electrical is still open for business and we want to share our actions we are taking to respond to the outbreak, aligned with the best information from Australian and international health authorities.
We are working hard to protect our staff so they can continue to deliver services to our clients. We have introduced the below:
Strict isolation protocols
Staff are monitoring their health, if they have a temperature above 37.3 degrees or showing any symptoms, they have been instructed not to attend work.
Our teams have been split into smaller groups and will practice safe distancing while onsite per 4m2 where possible. We will limit close interactions with a maximum time of 25mins. Team members are also encouraged to provide their own transport to and from worksites. Further to this lunch breaks will be staggered during the workday.
Our crews have been asked to clean their work areas before and after work. This includes vehicles, touchpoints, tools, and any equipment used if required. Additional cleaning has been arranged for facilities such as lunch sheds and toilets where applicable.
Our team have been advised about hygiene management and are conscious of maintaining good hygiene practices daily.
Telephone contact with customers before crews arrive
To understand whether the customer is in isolation or a high-risk group, our crews have been instructed to limit face to face interactions with all clients. Where possible, our team members will announce their arrival by phone or intercom systems and will proceed straight to the location of work. Signoffs or completion of paperwork can be completed outside and or can be completed via email notification, supported by photographs upon request.
It is important that these processes are implemented during our work now in case our workforce is impacted by the spread of COVID-19. We at Sprint Electrical want to be clear to all our valued customers that to date there has been no identified or confirmed cases of COVID-19.
We believe these measures strike the right balance between delivering our services while protecting our staff and the community. Could you please take a short moment to complete and submit our COVID-19 screening form, prior our attendance to enable us to organise and schedule your request work/s in a timely manner.
